Conversation Statistics: We are over 1100 total conversations or connections on the AVX network so far - 160 more over the last month, and 873 new connections over the past 4 quarters. Just last month, we notched our 10th match (Ken Stenton to UniKey), with 8 more in negotiations and another 21 with multi-month long discussions heading toward possible matches.
Expansion at AVX: Over the next few weeks, we will be announcing the expansion of the AVX team, network, and board. Keep on the look out for these exciting developments!
New Features and Data: So far, 38% of our active entrepreneurs have responded to the member survey launched last month to measure their predicted activity level, board areas of technology interest, role availability, and their feeling toward AVX connections thus far. We are pushing to get added responses and will be providing more data in the future.
This past summer, we have started to beta test our suggestion engine and email system, allowing us to identify talent and opportunities in the network such that we can suggest connections 'on time' so the right people can see the right opportunities as well as quickly receive feedback on suggestions. As some of you have seen, some of these are interesting suggestions and some of these are not a perfect fit. With your continuing engagement and feedback, we will be able to further improve our suggestion engine, hopefully leading to more productive introduction and more matches for the network. Over the following months, we will begin to incorporate AI tools to improve match making suggestions. Please keep on the look out!
